Sens de make do with

1. We don't have enough chairs for everyone, so we'll have to make do with sitting on the floor.
Nous n'avons pas assez de chaises pour tout le monde, donc nous devrons nous contenter de nous asseoir par terre.

2. I wanted a new phone, but I'll have to make do with my old one for now.
Je voulais un nouveau téléphone, mais je devrai me contenter de mon ancien pour l'instant.

3. The hotel room is smaller than expected, but we'll just have to make do with it for the night.
La chambre d'hôtel est plus petite que prévu, mais nous devrons nous en contenter pour la nuit.
